Engraved Plaques
Wooden plaques can be used for marking a grave or scatter place of a loved one. Many people purchase a memorial plaque which can be used to name a plant, tree or flower which has been planted in remembrance of a loved one. They are suitable as commemorative plaques and can be used in environmentally friendly areas. Pet grave markers are made from oak and are reasonably priced at £5.50 see images below.
Our plaques are made out of Oak or Beech and all have a tapered ground stake of about 35cm in length. The plaques are engraved and then sealed with either varnish or oil. Wooden plaques need periodic maintenance to remain in tip top condition, failing this they simply weather slowly to fit the surroundings. Ground Stakes
Ground stakes are hard wearing and suitable for marking a special place or plant. It can be placed at an accident scene in remembrance. They slide easily into the ground and are not obtrusive to the surrounding environment. Limited text and small image. Text can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the stake.
